Rustic Retreat Away from the City at Riders Lodge

Tucked away at the heart of HorseCity, the colonial-style Riders Lodge is a family-friendly retreat which offers a refreshing environment for families to spend time together without the usual distractions of the city.

The beauty of Riders Lodge is the fact that it is “away from it all”. It is the perfect place to escape from the busyness of everyday life and to really enjoy every moment.

Imagine a rustic staycation experience, surrounded by greenery and foliage, complete with the opportunity to take riding lessons at the HorseCity Gallop Stables Bukit Timah within the compound.

The lodge is also just five-minutes away from The Grandstand with its plethora of food and family lifestyle options.

Checking into Riders Lodge

Check-in is a fuss-free at the 24-hour reception. Settle the kids in one of the sofa seats and pop over to register and collect your keys. This staycation experience is one that will fill parents with nostalgia while providing children a chance to experience a simpler time.

You’re handed a metal key which you’ll need to hand over to the reception when you leave the compound and collect again when you return.

Comfortable Space to Play and Relax

Families can opt for the suite which consists of a spacious living area and a connecting bedroom. All rooms are in vibrant shades of yellow and orange and walls are decorated with black-and-white photographs of riders on horses to draw attention to its location in HorseCity.

The living area provides families a space to play and frolic or to kick back and lounge while watching TV.

Opt between twin bed and double bed rooms at Riders Lodge and you can expect simple and comfortable accommodation with complimentary WiFi.

The suite comes with two bathrooms with a standing shower, one in each room.

Staying at Riders Lodge is really going back to basics and each bathroom contains a wall mounted bath soap dispenser. Other toiletries are not provided and guests are advised to bring their own.

What’s really fantastic is how popular Riders Lodge is with families! Children are often found running along the corridors of this colonial bungalow, playing hide-and-seek and catching instead of swiping their fingers on iPads.

Step outside and make new friends or pop down to the Horsecity Gallop Stables Bukit Timah to see the horses or indulge in a pony ride.

Simple, Satisfying Breakfast

Fuel up for a fun-filled day ahead at the cosy patio right outside reception where breakfast is served. Dig into a bed-and-breakfast spread of sliced bread, a selection of spreads, a starch-like fried rice, sausages and eggs.
